Threads for Threads began with a simple mission: to get FIGS into the hands of healthcare professionals who lack access to clean scrubs. In 2024, we hit a record-breaking number of donations—but Threads for Threads has grown beyond its original goal. Now, it’s about empowering Awesome Humans and elevating patient care worldwide—because everyone deserves to #wearFIGS.

With Threads for Threads, we partnered with top humanitarian organizations like Project C.U.R.E. to deliver FIGS scrubs to healthcare professionals in 38 countries.

Supporting Awesome Humans means ending the institutional and cultural stigma around seeking mental health care.

F*** Cancer

For 2024 Breast Cancer Awareness Month, FIGS partnered with F*** Cancer, funding essential screenings and support.

Impact Trips

FIGS Impact Trips empower local-led, sustainable care, connecting Awesome Humans to deliver essential medical support in underserved communities.

Kenya

In January 2024, FIGS ambassadors, joined by our co-founders, celebrated the opening of the FIGS Operating Theater in Ukwala, Kenya. Our ambassadors performed the first surgeries in this state-of-the-art facility.

Dominican Republic

In March 2024, FIGS partnered with Bright Island Outreach to bring seven dental ambassadors to the Dominican Republic, where the team provided cleanings, surgeries, and education to over 150 patients.

Olympics Campaign

For the first time ever, FIGS outfitted over 250 healthcare professionals supporting Team USA athletes for the 2024 Paris Olympics and Paralympics, marking a historic milestone in the world of healthcare and sports.

Nurses Week

We put Nurses on the podium of the New York Stock Exchange for the best week of the year—NURSES WEEK. Encouraging the whole world to celebrate this incredible community.

Extremes Campaign

For our Extremes campaign, we amplified thrilling and incredible stories from throughout our Awesome community—inspiring the next generation of amazing (and awesome) healthcare professionals.

In 2024, our Field Day focused on the themes of Growth, Unity, and Resilience. We reviewed our strategic initiatives together, conducted team-building exercises, and then in honor of our Olympic partnership, had a relay competition—FIGS style.

Local Community Engagement

We love bringing our team and healthcare professionals together to serve and uplift our neighbors in need.

We're all about creating scrubs that work as hard as you do—while working smarter for the planet. From sustainable fibers to low-impact manufacturing and thoughtful innovation, we're crafting high-quality, long-lasting apparel that supports Awesome Humans and a more climate-conscious future.

Scrubs That Don't Suck

In April 2024, we helped our community recycle 45,000 lbs of non-FIGS scrubs (aka Scrubs that Suck) and upgrade to FIGS through our Earth Month program, giving scrubs a second life through sustainable recycling.

Indestructible Scrubs

Using 54% recycled polyester content, we created a fabric that can perform even after 70,000 abrasion cycles.

Sustainability Goals

We’re working toward 75% recycled materials in scrubs and cutting water use by 30% by 2030. With sustainable sourcing and OEKO-TEX® 100 standards, we’re creating healthcare apparel with a lighter impact.
